I'm currently a lecturer in philosophy at the New College of the Humanities in London. Prior to this I spent two years as a teaching fellow in philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, a year as a visiting researcher and lecturer at the University of Glasgow, and I completed my PhD at the University of Leeds in August 2018.

I work primarily in metaphysics and social and feminist philosophy. I am particularly interested in places where these areas overlap. My doctoral research investigated the role of truth in the method of metaphysics, looking at how the demands placed on the concept of truth in theories of meaning for natural language can constrain or limit metaphysical inquiry. My current research is concerned with how these metametaphysical issues play out in social metaphysics. I am working on a range of theoretical and normatively salient problems around characterising the nature of social reality under conditions of ideological distortion.
